MMSGI's Sustainability Program Wins 5-Star TOP CSR Award 2025 and Golden Trophy for Three Consecutive Years

Jakarta – Thanks to its consistency in implementing sustainable business strategies through social responsibility management, MMS Group Indonesia (MMSGI) through its subsidiary PT Multi Harapan Utama (MHU) successfully won three prestigious awards at the TOP CSR Award 2025 event held at the Raffles Hotel, Jakarta, on Wednesday (11/6).

For 3 consecutive years, MMSGI has successfully received the TOP CSR Award in the 5-star Excellence category, this proves MMSGI's commitment to improving the quality of life for local communities by improving community welfare and protecting the environment through social responsibility programs.

Not only did he receive the TOP CSR Award 2025 5 Star Excellence Category and the Golden Trophy as the winner of the TOP CSR Awards for 3 consecutive years, MMSGI CEO Sendy Greti also won the TOP Leader on CSR Commitment 2025 award for the fourth time since 2022.

This prestigious award is a recognition of MMSGI's consistency and commitment in implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs that have a real and sustainable impact, especially through the PT Multi Harapan Utama (MHU) business unit.

Sendy emphasized that MMSGI carries out CSR as an integral part of its principles. According to him, successful CSR programs begin with dialogue and social mapping, involve the community from the planning stage, and conduct regular evaluations to ensure targeted effectiveness and sustainable impact.

For example, Lung Anai Chocolate House has become a symbol of local economic transformation, or Sungai Payang Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) is now able to drive the village's economic growth independently. The success of our CSR programs is the result of cross-stakeholder collaboration between the community, government, and relevant agencies, working together to promote inclusive and sustainable change," he said.

Program CSR MMSGI melalui MHU menekankan komitmen pentingnya pemberdayaan masyarakat, pelestarian budaya, peningkatan ekonomi lokal, dan keberlanjutan lingkungan. Beberapa program unggulan diantaranya Rumah Cokelat Lung Anai salah satu bentuk hilirisasi kakao yang telah memperoleh sertifikasi halal dari BPOM, program beasiswa kejar paket A, B, C untuk masyarakat sekitar wilayah operasional yang pada tahun 2024 berhasil mencetak lulusandengan total 5.327 orang peserta, serta keberhasilan pengembangan BUMDes Sungai Payang Sejahtera yang mendorong kemandirian ekonomi desa dengan meningkatkan pendatapan BUMDes  hingga mencapai Rp27,6 miliar dengan nilai SROI 4,27 yang menandakan keberhasilan dan kelayakan program ini.

This program includes business development such as compost factories, catering services, laundry, housekeeping, and the construction of a Water Treatment Plant (WTP). In addition, the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDesa) also contributes to social activities, such as distributing basic food supplies and providing sacrificial animals to the surrounding community.

Sendy further stated that this award is not only a form of appreciation, but also a responsibility to continue innovating in creating programs that address community needs in a sustainable manner.

"We believe that CSR success is not measured by the number of programs, but by how significantly it can significantly change people's lives and build lasting trust between the company and the surrounding community," he concluded.

Ajang TOP CSR Award 2025 sendiri diselenggarakan oleh Majalah TopBusiness bekerja sama dengan sejumlah lembaga independen seperti SGL Management, Komite Nasional Kebijakan Governance (KNKG), dan Indonesia CSR Society, serta melibatkan dewan juri yang terdiri dari para pakar di bidang ESG dan tata kelola perusahaan berkelanjutan.
